Will the extracted charts look exactly like the originals?

The tool preserves chart data, titles, series names, and colors. While ECharts may render slightly differently than Excel, the data and structure remain identical. You can customize the appearance after extraction.

Can I extract charts from password-protected Excel files?

No, the file must be unprotected. Remove any password protection in Excel before uploading.

What if my Excel file has multiple charts?

Perfect! The tool extracts ALL embedded charts from the file and displays them individually. You can export each chart separately.

How does it work technically?

Excel .xlsx files are ZIP archives containing XML files. The tool unzips the file, parses chart definitions from xl/charts/*.xml files, extracts series data and categories, then recreates the charts using ECharts.

Can I edit the extracted charts?

The current version displays the extracted charts as configured in Excel. Future updates will add editing capabilities. You can export and edit in tools like ECharts Editor.
