PayPal Transactions CSV to Dashboard
PayPal's activity log is fine for looking up one transaction, but a breakdown by transaction type or status means exporting the history and pivoting it, there's no built-in report for that inside PayPal itself.
Step 1: Export From PayPal
Go to Activity → Statements → Custom, pick a date range, and download the transaction history as CSV. A typical export includes columns like Date, Type, Status, Currency, Gross, Fee, and Net.
Step 2: Pick a Breakdown
Gross by Transaction Type
Upload your export and Pivot Table opens pre-configured to sum Gross by Type (payment, refund, fee, transfer).
Net by Status
Separates completed transactions from pending or reversed ones.
Overall Transaction Stats
Totals and averages across Gross, Fee, and Net for the whole export.
